Welcome to Kinderprep!

Kinderprep is an academic preschool and Kindergarten for children ages 2-6. Kinderprep was founded in 1995 by Lara Pallant and Marybeth Grassi. Both Lara and Marybeth hold degrees in Early Childhood Education and are actively involved in the daily operation of the school. As active directors Lara and Marybeth are always available for both parents and staff members.  As mothers themselves Lara and Marybeth work hard to accomodate all students and are fully aware of the needs of young children.

Kinderppep's philosohpy is to expose the young child to as many different learning experiences as possible, while creating a positive "first school" experience.  Kindreprep's learning environment is designed to enhance children's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.  Schedules, learning centers, and activities are planned to allow children to explore independently, to discover, and to learn through developmentally appropriate play.  The Kinderprep program includes: Circle Time, Learning Centers, Pre-Math and Reading Activities, Science, Art, Music, and plenty of out door play. Our program is flexible, encouraging each child to learn at his or her own pace.

Parents find our class sizes to be most desirable. Kinderprep's teacher-student ratios and small class size were established according to what early childhood experts believe is best for the young child. Depending upon the age, class size is between 6-12 students. In addition we have a highly qualified staff. All of our teachers are college degreed, Certified in Early Childhood Education or completing their mentorship for permanate certification and all teachers are CPR certified. Each teacher is responsible for their own lesson plans which are handed in to the director weekly for review.

In order to be a success we believe it is important for parents to be actively involved. We do this through daily reports, newsletters and parent envolvement. Each year parents may volunteer to help with holiday partys, field trips and fundraisers.  We run two fund raisers a year, one to benefit the school and the other for a cause.  We feel it is important for the children to understand we must help others. We also hold an annual "Family Night". All our Kinderprep students and their families are invited to "Family Night", where they  can enjoy an evening with food, company and entertainment. Parents are also free to come in and do a craft or read a story anytime during the year. The children always enjoy special visitors.
